The purpose of this initiative was to undertake an extensive engagement process with the Noongar community to understand the local context and stories throughout history in station locations and precincts. Engagement has led to mutually agreed Noongar Place Names, validated by the METRONET Noongar Reference Group and local Noongar Elders.
