The Engagement Institute is inviting nominations from members to join our high-performing, skills-based Board.
As a Director, you’ll work alongside experienced and passionate peers to help guide the strategic direction of the Engagement Institute, contribute to the continued growth and recognition of the engagement profession, and further develop your own leadership capability.
As the peak body for community and stakeholder engagement in Australia and New Zealand, we believe meaningful engagement leads to better environmental, social and governance outcomes and strengthens trust in our democratic systems.
Joining the Board means becoming part of a well-established organisation with a clear strategic vision, a commitment to delivering value for members, and an exciting future as we continue to advance the profession.
Nominating as a candidate
At the 2026 Annual General Meeting, three director positions will become vacant.
We invite eligible members to stand for election to the Engagement Institute Board of Directors.

If you’d like to learn more about becoming a director, join our online information session on 27 August 2026.
Voting
Voting will open on 17 September 2026 at 10:00 am AEST and close on 7 October 2026 at 8:00pm AEST.
The member roll closes on 31 August 2026 at 5:00 pm AEST.
Eligible members will receive an email with instructions on how to vote.
