NAIDOC Week 2025 will be held from Sunday 6 July to Sunday 13 July, marking a national celebration of the history, cultures and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
This year is a significant milestone, recognising 50 years of NAIDOC Week. The 2025 theme, “The Next Generation: Celebrating Strength, Vision and Legacy,” honours the enduring leadership of Elders and the rising generation carrying culture and advocacy forward.
NAIDOC Week is more than a single week of celebration—it’s a continued call to action. It reminds us that engaging with First Nations histories, cultures and futures is a long-term commitment. Beyond events and ceremonies, it’s a time to strengthen cultural understanding, deepen local relationships, and embed ongoing learning.
