Are you a strategic education leader looking for a flexible part-time role with real impact?
Engagement Institute is seeking a seasoned and experienced Head of Education to lead the direction, quality and growth of our education portfolio. This is a pivotal leadership role for someone who brings strong commercial judgement, contemporary adult learning expertise and a passion for creating high-quality professional development that is relevant, market-led and fit for purpose.
Working closely with the CEO, Leadership Team, licensed trainers and external partners, you will shape the future of our learning products and education services, ensuring they align with our standards, competencies and Future Learners Model while supporting the broader strategic and commercial success of the organisation.
The opportunity
- 25 hours per week
- Remote role open to applicants in VIC, NSW or QLD

About the role
Key responsibilities include:
- leading the Education function to deliver strategic goals and business outcomes
- driving the review, development and continuous improvement of education products and services
- ensuring education offerings align with organisational standards, competencies and the Future Learners Model
- leading trainer licencing and trainer recruitment in collaboration with the Training Services Manager
- building strong relationships with trainers, course developers, tertiary partners, IAP2 International and other strategic stakeholders
- overseeing education standards, policies, planning, reporting and budgets
- contributing to profitability and ensuring the portfolio balances purpose with commercial outcomes.
About you
You will bring:
- significant senior experience in education leadership
- strong knowledge of adult learning, training design and program development
- demonstrated strategic capability and a track record of delivering outcomes
- commercial acumen, including budgeting and project management experience
- excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
- a collaborative, practical and solutions-focused approach.
Qualifications
You will ideally have:
- adult education experience and Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent
- demonstrated understanding of adult teaching methodologies and standards across multiple delivery modes
- a university degree in an appropriate discipline
- the ability to travel as required.
